Orbital Mining Corporation wins NASA Watts on the Moon Challenge Phase 2

Orbital Mining Corporation wins $200,000 from the NASA Watts on the Moon Challenge Phase 2 Level 1. The competition focuses on power transmission and storage over 3 km and 50 hours of Lunar day/night cycles. OMC advances with an innovative and cost-effective approach to cryogenic cold and vacuum tolerance. OMC will compete with six other teams in the next competition level, for a shot at $400,000.
